Interpretation of Korean Null Pronouns in subject and object position: Comparing native and non-native speakers

We report an experiment that investigates how native and non-native Korean speakers’ interpretation of null pronouns in subject object position is influenced by structural discourse-level factors. compare speakers to L2 learners whose L1, Spanish, only has position. find guided factors as well coherence relations, with nulls being more sensitive relations than nulls. In contrast, our results suggest less relations. Our support claims interface phenomena are challenging acquisition provide new evidence this occurs even when the L1 pronouns.
